TrustSecure

TrustSecure is a post-employment medical expense reimbursement plan. It is designed for employers to make tax-exempt contributions on behalf of eligible employees and/or retirees. Employees who participate in the plan can request reimbursement for qualified medical expenses when they leave employment, retire, or are disabled.

TrustSecure is a group plan. That means it must be bargained between an employer and the union before an employee can participate in it. Non-represented employee groups may also participate if a represented group is participating. Employer money contributed to the plan will be invested in a WEA Trust investment portfolio.

WEA Trust has contracted with Educators Benefit Consultants (EBC), Minnesota, to administer the plan. EBC will assist with enrollment, account set-up, reimbursements of qualified medical expenses, and member or employer inquiries.
